1 Who We Are
AfricSpend is a Nigerian digital platform that enables users to initiate and complete value conversion transactions within our system. Users may initiate transactions by sending supported digital assets to designated addresses provided by AfricSpend for the purpose of fulfilling specific service requests.
Once a transaction is confirmed and processed, the equivalent value is settled to the user in local currency. AfricSpend does not operate as a financial institution, does not provide custodial wallet services, and does not hold user funds beyond what is required to complete individual transactions. All transactions are processed on a per-request basis.
We are registered and incorporated in Nigeria, operating from No. 25 Nsugbe Street, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.

- Complete verification — Link your bank account and complete identity verification to unlock transaction capabilities and applicable limits.
- Initiate a transaction — Send supported digital assets to your designated AfricSpend address to begin a value conversion request.
- Receive settlement — Once the transaction is confirmed, the equivalent Naira value is disbursed to your registered bank account or made available for bill payments and peer transfers.
5 Compliance & Security
AfricSpend maintains internal compliance processes, including transaction monitoring and AML measures, to ensure that all activities on the platform are conducted in a secure and compliant manner. We are committed to operating within applicable Nigerian regulatory frameworks and industry best practices.
All users undergo email verification on signup. Bank-level identity verification (Tier 1) is required before withdrawals can be made. Document and liveness verification (Tier 2) and government NIN verification (Tier 3) are available for users who require higher transaction limits.
We maintain detailed transaction records, monitor for suspicious activity, and reserve the right to suspend or restrict accounts that exhibit unusual patterns. Our full AML & KYC policy is available at africspend.com/legal/aml.
